The right tray for draining your soft cheeses

Draining trays are used to collect whey extracted from the moulds. When stacked, they increase working capacity and make it easier to flip the moulds during draining.

Key Elements

Draining plates offer various advantages:

1

Cheese quality

A draining tray with a mat helps avoid serum pockets when moulding, and closes the cheese rind.

2

Uniform draining

The gutters allow the evacuation of the whey on the side of the mould and prevent the cheeses from dripping on each other. Draining is homogeneous on the entire stack.

3

Space saving

The trays stack on draining tables or on bases, saving space during draining.
